Save this page before buying. These are the checks that matter most when comparing replacement or upgrade batteries.
1. Start with the correct voltage
Voltage is the first compatibility check. Common systems include 36V, 48V, 60V and 72V, but the correct voltage is determined by your vehicle and electrical system.
Check: original battery label, vehicle manual, manufacturer specification or a qualified EV technician.
2. Understand Ah (ampere-hour)
Ah describes electrical capacity. At the same voltage, a higher Ah rating generally represents more stored energy. It does not by itself guarantee a particular riding range.
3. Calculate approximate energy
A useful comparison is Wh β Voltage Γ Ah. For example, 60V Γ 30Ah β 1,800Wh or 1.8kWh nominal energy.
Actual usable energy and range vary with battery design and operating conditions.
4. Lithium-ion vs LiFePO4
Lithium-ion packs can provide high energy density. LiFePO4/LFP is known for strong cycle-life and thermal-stability characteristics. The best choice depends on your application, size, weight, price and vehicle compatibility.
5. Check the BMS

Is 60V better than 48V?

Is LiFePO4 better than lithium-ion?
